Sikhism, established in the 15th century, is a relatively young religion with its primary adherents in India and Pakistan.
The central tenet of Sikhism is faith in Waheguru, the Universal God, symbolized by the sacred emblem Ik ōaṅkār.

Sikh Symbol: Khanda
The Khanda is the emblematic symbol of Sikhism, composed of three key elements:
- Khanda: A double-edged sword that signifies the belief in one God.
- Chakkar: A circular shape, akin to the Kara, symbolizing the eternal nature of God and urging Sikhs to live within divine principles.
- Crossed Kirpans: Representing the dual concepts of spiritual authority and political power.
